La veranda - The conservatory

The large conservatory extends as a roofed and security-glazed porch all around the front of the house. The ample front windows double as sliding doors fitted with protective nets that allow access to the front garden. It's a truly wonderful space that can be taken advantage of in all seasons, and helps to isolate the inside of the house, contributing to a more pleasant living and a considerable saving on the heating in winter. It's an excellent habitat for tropical plants and a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view on the surrounding nature, all year round!

l'ampia veranda ( m x m ) che circonda tutto il fonte della cascina, con grandi vetrate che si aprono sul giardino, e' un incantevole ambiente luminosissimo e utilizzabile in tutte le stagioni grazie alla capacita' di trattenere il calore, che aiuta anche ad isolare termicamente l'interno dell'abitazione. Oltre ad offrire una favolosa vista sulla natura circostante, rappresenta un'habitat ideale per la creazione di un giardino interno e per mantenere una collezione invidiabile di piante esotiche.

La sala a volta - The vaulted room

From the enclosed porch one enters in the large living room, which maintains the characteristic vaulted ceiling so typical of the rural houses of this area. This elegant space is open on all four sides, and connects via a small corridor to the main bedroom and bathroom on the left, through a small arch to a relax area dominated by the charming fireplace to the front, and to the kitchen on the right.

Attraverso la veranda, si accede alla caratteristica sala a volta, che mantiene intatta l' architettura tipica delle costruzioni di origine rurale del canavese. Nell'ampio soggiorno, sfruttando il gioco di luci e ombre creato dalle volte, e'stato ricavato un elegante angolo conversazione, adiacente alla zona relax, dominata dal bel camino. Il salone comunica a sinistra, attraverso un piccolo corridoio, con la camera ed il bagno padronale.

La cucina - The kitchen

Access to the kitchen is by two small arches, carefully blended with the typical architectonical style of the house. This room opens on the porch with both a separate door and a window, and at the opposite end leads to the stairwell under which there is a small space, perfect as wine and food cellar.

La zona pranzo si apre a destra sul locale cucina attraverso due caratteristici archi, sapientemente ricreati nel rispetto dei tipici tratti architettonici della cascina. La cucina comunica, da una parte, direttamente con la veranda che ne amplia il respiro e favorisce la luminosita', e dall'altra con le scale di accesso al piamo superiore.

Il giardino - The garden

From the main gate to the house entrance there is a stone-paved walkway that edges the lovely front garden, full of beautiful flowers and aromatic bushes that live it up in all seasons. On the right of the gate there is a concrete platform covered by a wrought iron gazebo shaded by wisteria and a brick barbecue.

Dal cancello di accesso della cascina si percorre il vialetto che attraversa un incantevole giardino, esteticamente curato in ogni sua parte e ricco di piante aromatiche e fiori che lo animano in ogni stagione. Sulla destra si trova inoltre la piattaforma con il delizioso gazebo in ferro battuto e il barbecue in muratura.

Lo studio al piano alto - The study upstairs

The upper floor main feature are two large and luminous rooms, which are currently being used as studio by the two artists living in the house. The first and larger one (shown here) also connects to the other two bedrooms present on this floor, which retain the original country style of the original property. At the end of a short corridor there is also a second bathroom complete of bathtub. From the stairwell access can be gained to the attic.

Il piano superiore e' caratterizzato da due stanze molto ampie e luminose. Attualmente entrambi gli ambienti sono adibiti ad aterlier degli artisti. Il primo studio, piu' spazioso, comunica anche con le due camere da letto che conservano nell'architettura e nello stile, il clima rurale originale ed in armonia con il contesto. Su questo piano e' anche presente un secondo bagno completo di vasca, e la scala di accesso alla soffitta.

L'altro studio - The other study

The second atelier is more intimate and secluded and makes for an ideal place from which enjoy moments of peace and tranquillity, also helped by the panoramic view on the surrounding area through the large double-glazed windows.

Il secondo atelier e' piu' intimo e raccolto, ideale per godersi momenti di tranquillita' e pace, favoriti dalla suggestiva vista che abbraccia il panorama circostante attraverso le ampie vetrate.

La strada di accesso - The access road

The access road, gently winding through the idyllic countryside, has been recently paved for easy and comfortable access in all weather. In front of the main gate there is ample parking space for three cars, with additional space for many more vehicles available on the opposite side of the road.

La strada che porta alla cascina, attraversando un'idilliaco scenario campestre, e' stata recentemente asfalfata cosentendo un accesso agevole alla proprieta'. Davanti al cancello si apre uno spiazzo che offre parcheggio per diverse auto ed altri spazi che possono essere adibiti a questo scopo sono disponibili lungo la strada adiacente alla cascina.

I locali di servizio - Service buildings

In front of the house proper there are ample service buildings, including a small room that is currently housing the water filters that guarantee an unlimited supply of excellent quality fresh water. There are also two other larger rooms which are dry, well ventilated and wired to the power mains. They are used as stores at the moment and are ideal also for keeping preserved foods and wine, or to install any sort of equipment.

Di fronte all'abitazione si trovano gli ampli locali di servizio, ristrutturati al rustico. Vi sono installati i filtri e l'addolcitore per l'acqua e sono utilizzati come deposito per gli attrezzi, oltre a fungere da ideale locale cantina per conservare cibi e vini. Questi locali sono asciutti, areati e serviti di impianto elettrico ed acqua e possono essere attrezzati per qualunque attivita' uno desideri.

Il terreno di proprieta' - The field

This is the property terrain (85x110 yards, just under two Acres, or approximately 86110 Sq.feet) excellent farmland completely enclosed by mesh-wire fencing, and accessible from the garden and from the road through a separate gate. Near the buildings there are many fruit and decorative trees while a high hedge ensure privacy from the neighbouring property. The position and characteristic of the terrain makes it particularly suitable for a vineyard (this is the famous Canavese region!) a nursery, a horse pen, etc...

Dal giardino si accede al grande (m80 x m100 circa, 315 pertiche, appena sotto i due acri, 0.8 ettari o 80 are) campo soleggiato di proprieta' della cascina, completamente recintato e momentaneamente lasciato a prato. Nella parte superiore del terreno sono presenti numerosi alberi da frutta, decorativi e pregiati e una folta siepe che garantisce l'intimita' dalla proprieta' confinante. Le caratteristiche del campo e la sua posizione, lasciano immaginare una sua possibile destinazione per l'allevamento di cavalli, la coltivazione di fiori od erbe aromatiche e medicinali, una vigna (ci troviamo nel canavese), o qualsiasi altra attivita' agricola commerciale o ricreativa.

Il boschetto - The wood

On the other side of the road, across another small field (also belonging to the property) there is a small forested grove that provides plenty firewood.

Al di la' della strada, tre un'altro piccolo campo sepmpre di proprieta', si trova il boschetto della cascina, che fornisce un'abbondante riserva di legna da ardere.

La caldaia - The new boiler

The property is served by a brand new gas central heating system.

La proprieta' e' servita da un modernissimo impiato di riscaldamento a gas, appena installato.
