This is a model kit of an New Kingdom Egyptian Shield Camp set based on our "HOPPIDUS" modular fortification system designed specifically to be used with Field of Glory™ rules. This set contains a selection of all the modules you need to recreate this temporary fortification, such as those used by the army of Ramses encamped at Qadesh. The complete set as shown consist of a perimeter of fencing made with shields which leave a full module frontage (40mm) gap and two pillars each surmounted by a statue of the ram of Amon, as they are represented in NKE bas-reliefs of Ramses camp. This kit include all the modules required to make a legal 120x80mm FOG camp large enough to hold troops and/or a couple of 15mm New Kingdom Egyptian Tents in the courtyard. Please note that the kit does not include (but does need) a base like that shown in the picture. You can make one yourself easily enough, so we didn't felt it was the case to charge you for a rectangular piece of cardboard! HOPPIDUS is a truly modular system, and all elements of this set are compatible with the rest of the range. This means you can also add more elements from the complete HOPPIDUS range to expand and customize this basic set, for example adding a DBA4 Egyptian Camp set to the back, to make a completely enclosed fortified perimeter that can be used for a scenario game or as a Build Up Area!
